Born over fifty years ago, from Owodokpokpo, Igbide, Isoko South LGA, Chief Goodnews Emamusi Obiodeh holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a professional certificate from the Nigerian Business School, Lagos. An early starter in private business, he ventured into the Agro industry with Solid Farms and Services Ltd, became a major distributor with Chemical and Allied Products Plc, a subsidiary of UAC, and also a consultant to various multi-national companies including SAIPEM Nigeria Ltd, INTELs Nigeria Ltd and others. He started his political life way back with his appointment as Supervisory Councilor for Health and Environment, Isoko South LGA, was subsequently elected twice as Councillor for Igbide Ward, voted Leader of the Legislative Arm, and thereafter appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters. A celebrated community leader and acknowledged PDP faithful, he has served the state and the party in various capacities, including as a member of the State Campaign Council and Chairman, Support/Focal Groups Sub-Committee of Isoko South Campaign Committee.
