Surgery (MBBS) and a Masters degrees in Public Health. He was Medical Director of New Life Hospital Ughelli from where he joined the Delta State Health Management Board in 2015, rising to Principal Medical Officer. A vibrant social and political activist, he was one time Secretary of the National Association of Delta State Medical and Dental Students, Secretary of the University of Benin Students’ Union Government, and Chairman, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee.

In the medical circle, he rose from Treasurer to Deputy Secretary of the Ughelli Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association Association and was subsequently elected Welfare Officer of the Delta State Chapter of the NMA.
